Training

As Educational psychologists we work with schools to enhance the learning experiences of all children and young people. We apply our knowledge in psychology, child development and education to identify and assess any learning difficulties that children may encounter and look at ways to support these. One way that Educational Psychologists can have the greatest impact is by passing down knowledge via training. You might want to consider training from our team if:

  • You want to understand children and young people’s behaviour and need strategies to support with this
  • You want to understand more about the different ways children learn and how you can develop your own assessment and intervention methods to support with this
  • You want to know more about the impact of certain conditions on learning
  • You want to keep up to date with best practice, policy and research
  • You want to help staff to develop skills to support children and young people with specific needs and enhance all children’s learning

Reduced Printing Policy

At Brimstone Psychology, we are committed to promoting ethical and sustainable values throughout all areas of our practice. In the UK, it is estimated that 9.9 million tonnes of paper are used every year, with office printing contributing significantly to both deforestation and carbon emissions. Consequently, our policy is not to provide printed copies of slides and training materials by default. As standard, any training materials will be shared electronically with delegates in advance of sessions, to ensure that sessions proceed in the most efficient way possible.

If you have a specific need meaning that a physical copy of the slides would facilitate your learning, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us. In these instances, we welcome requests for physical copies of training materials, as well as any other accommodations that would enhance your learning experience.
